Memoirs of Christ Nagar XV

Hi to my dear batch,

Hope all of you are fine. I am fine by God's grace.
Continuing with the memoirs session of Std VII.D,

Malayalam : Our teacher was Mrs.Geeta. The main text had around 30 chapters with prose & poems. The supplementary text book `Durgesa nandini' was a love story of
Thilothama & Jagath Simhan.

Hindi : Sukumaran Sir taught us the main text book , grammar and the
supplementary reader.

Biology : Jayalekshmi teacher taught the subject in a very superb manner. She taught the principles of reproduction, small organisms (protozoans), worm infections.

Physics : Joy sir taught the subject in his own style. He taught the principles of force, pressure, principles of stability, electrical gadgets like tape recorder, telephone, telegram, television, diesel
engines; principles of optics incl the laws of reflection etc.

Chemistry : Only 3 chapters. He taught us basics of chemical nomenclature like symbols, formulae, chemical equations and the periodic table.

Social Sciences : Arundathi Sinha teacher. She taught the ancient civilizations in India (Harappa, Mohen jo daro), Greek civilization, religion (Hinduism), 2 developed countries (UK & Denmark), 2 developing countries (Nepal), geographical features like cyclone, Tornado, mechanism of climates, division to latitudes & longitudes etc.
