Memoirs of Christ Nagar XXXI

Hi all,

Nice to contact all of you once again. I am fine here by God's grace. Hope you all are doing fine.
Continuing with the memoirs of Std X.E,

English : It was taught by Mary Rose teacher (Sachin's mother).

I paper : It includes 16 chapter text book including Boyhood days (Booker Washington), Uphill, the Miser (Eric Blair), Daffodils (William Wordsworth), The fall of Bhishma , the lone dog, one Christmas morning, Montgomery and the Tom Cat, Hardy's discovery of Ramanujan, Wander Thirst (Gerald Gould) etc. We were also taught English grammar.

II paper: Apart from Composition, we were taught the Kerala supplementary reader`Indulekha'. This work was by Chandu Menon, which depicts the successful love story between Indulekha & Madhavan. Other characters were Panchu Menon (the Karnavar), Shinnon (brother), Lakshmikutty (her mother), Suri Nambuthiripad (who wanted to marry Indu), Kalyanikutty (the servant girl). She taught the subjects well, along with English grammar and composition.
